    Thanks for the great suggestions. I really like the idea of an R5 paired with the 100-500mm and the 1.4x. To be honest, I've seen the mention of the R5 in online reviews and should have paid more attention. I was looking at a Nikon Z9 only because the Z6iii release seemed iffy in terms of time...
