Good decision. I too sold off my 8x32 with no regrets at this point. I am still happy with the SFL 8x40 which I find works much better for me in pretty much every aspect. I do wish I would have had a better outcome with the SFL 8x30 myself, but can’t always get what you want. As a side kick to... -

Eye piece is just about 40mm outer edge to outer edge. So, unfortunately same as your current binos. Maybe the hinge on the SFL will work in your favor. I don’t have the SFL 30 so I can’t confirm ocular size. -

Mbb: to clarify: The FL is very glare resistant but for some of us glasses wearers there is a problem with back ocular lens glare/reflections, not front objective lenses glare. The SFL is much better in this aspect. If you don’t wear glasses this is most likely not an issue at all. I do... -
