    Towhee?

Thank you...I had this down as a Canyon, but they really are not considered a species from the Baja. There was a chance something might have gotten blown across the Sea of Cortez in Monday Cat 1 hurricane! Thanks to all of you for your help Tom

    Towhee?

I feel bad asking you for help, but I want to be sure....This 7.5-8" bird, was photographed on the southern end of the Baja, Mexico yesterday. It was found in some very thick thorny brush, much like I might have found a Green-tailed Towhee. Thank you for your help Tom

    Female Xanthus's Hummingird

    Roadrunner, avoiding the roads!

I have seen literally hundreds of roadrunners driving around these Mexican back roads, and still feel that I have not gotten "That One" image...this one is pretty close. I was sitting on a water hole, way out in the La Paz desert, shooting Xanthus's Hummingbirds when this Roadrunner...

That looks like a very well fed Coyote! Given the time of year that great shot was captured, they usually are looking pretty scruffy... Excellent image, crystal clear with some beautiful lighting.... Very well done my friend Tom
