    Hi, it flew from the Moors towards the Flashes at roughly 3.00 not showing on the Flashes however.

    Phil, has there ever been a record of Wood Warbler breeding on the reserve? I imagine there is not enough suitable habitat to sustain a breeding attempt, but would be nice if they tried.

    Thankfully I will be at the reserve Saturday afternoon/evening for the first time since my unexpected hospital stay. Preying the Ibis is still there, will be a lifer 😳 hopefully something unexpected drops in, you’ll be the first to know John 👍

    Depends really Dave, the controversy of the Grouse and raptors is another side of the coin, rearing something to shoot just doesn’t sit right with me I’m afraid, that aside how are you Dave? Not seen you for years, will you be at the alldayer?

    Can I add, two Greater Spotted Woodpeckers, one Yaffle and two House Martin at the Moors and Peregrine at Flashes this afternoon.

    As I was leaving the Moors today John I saw a dark Audi parked the wrong way, I thought it was a bit odd , but before I had a chance to do anything it pulled away and left. I never saw the occupants though, may have been completely innocent but seemed odd to me.

    Adult Med Gull was there at least between 12.50 and1.20 before disappearing after being spooked by two Canada Geese.
