Ok so I set to Manual mode. I set my exposure to 1/1000. Fine. Next time I shoot the exposure time has altered??? It is always dropping to a longer exposure and not always the same value. So I have to check to see if my exposure has altered before taking the next shot??? Any ideas?
I didn't realise how many different hoverflies there were. I know most have to be identified by dissection or microscopic means. I was wondering if anyone could give me a guide to this one. Can anyone recommend a good site for identification guides?
Looks like a Kestrel but its behaviour threw me a bit. No hovering just circling and gliding. Taken at a very far distance hence the quality. The tail feathers threw me a bit as well. Any confirmations? Buzzard? Too far for me to tell.
I came across this flower in Athlone Ireland on the edge of Lough Ree. It looks like some kind of orchid to me but cant find a definite identification. Help needed please. At first I thought marsh orchid but I'm not sure.
I have been looking for an upgrade from my Canon SX50 for a long time. The SX70 reviews do not look good. (Unless anyone knows differently.) I want 4K and a bit more zoom. 83x optical on the Nikon P900 is about right I think. But it doesn't have 4K. I was wondering what the P1000 would be like...
