Where are all the 8x32 SF reviews? After all the speculation...

Why? The NL Pure is a little bit on the heavy side ... and I'm in my late 70s and the weight is not insignificant on hours of hiking. That's why I'm looking for very good binoculars with a wide field of view and less weight for this application!

Where are all the 8x32 SF reviews? After all the speculation...

Thanks Canip for measuring ... This way I can perhaps compare the dimensions with existing binoculars and roughly estimate, whether the geometry fits my eye sockets. Now it actually looks as if I have to buy the ZEISS VICTORY 8X32 SF only a few weeks after the SWAROVSKI NL PURE 8X42 ... Phew...

Where are all the 8x32 SF reviews? After all the speculation...

In order to get as precise a picture as possible of whether the Zeiss Victory 8x32 SF would "fit" my eyes, I need the following dimensions of the rubber eyecups: Inner diameter: xx mm Outside diameter: yy mm I would be happy to hear from you!

Which price category should I buy?

A few weeks ago I bought a Nikon Monarch HG 8x30 and I am absolutely thrilled! After having been able to compare it with my 12 year old Swarovski EL 8x32 in different applications for more than 3 weeks, I am amazed to see that the MHG easily "puts the EL in its pocket". I would never have...

Swarovski NL 8x42 - First Impressions

It has arrived, yeah !!! :king: Am I actually the FIRST in Germany to hold his own NL PURE 8x42 in hands? Foto-Erhardt did a great job, thank you, I'll definitely be back soon :t: Thanks to live tracking, I was well informed about the arrival time and had opened the door 5 minutes earlier when...

Swarovski NL 8x42 - First Impressions

When I wanted to buy a EL 8x42 about 12 years ago, I decided after hours and hours of testing for the smaller 8x32 version because the diameter of the 8x42 tubes was too unwieldy for my relatively small hands. And I have to say, I was never dissatisfied with my decision ... this little fellow is...

    Review of 8x25 Victory Pocket

When I registered here in the forum a few weeks ago - about 10 years after buying a Swarovski EL 8x32 - I was looking for a bit lighter binoculars with good quality and an acceptable field of view. After reading through hundreds of comments, it became the Nikon MHG 8x30. I was spontaneously...

NIKON introduces new Monarch HG 8x30 and 10x30 Binoculars

Good idea @eitan, I'll try that immediately tomorrow, because my harness won't arrive here until the coming week! I also think that age plays a big role, @Ries ... at almost 80 years of age, 500 grams feels like 1.5 kg |8(|

NIKON introduces new Monarch HG 8x30 and 10x30 Binoculars

Thanks for your tips @Sydneybirder and @etudiant :t: Yes, I've been thinking about purchasing a harness for a looong time, but haven't yet realized it due to the lack of a specialist shop near me. After spending many hours with the new Nikon Monarch HG 8x30 together with my Swaro EL 8x32 in...

NIKON introduces new Monarch HG 8x30 and 10x30 Binoculars

Since I bought my Swarovski EL 8x32 about 10 years ago, I've been so satisfied that I haven't looked around for new optical toys for boys and, as a precaution, haven't visited this interesting forum either! But now I'm approaching 80 and I notice the weight of the binoculars much more clearly...

    swarovision EL

Waiting for my new EL 8,5x42 SWAROVISION i tried out a solution to hold my eyecups in 4mm position. Here are some photos of my o-ring-trials (with the EL 32). No real HiFi solution... but better than nothing... and works verry well :t: I can't understand, that a premium bino of that...
