    Great info, Bill, thanks a lot! 🙏 Funny how I'd think larger eyecup would be more comfortable but your experience is clearly different. Seems one could say Meopta's eyecup is more effective in praxis. The zoom ring is still wider than on the Nikon mcii, so no breaker for me, supposing it's...

    Now that was info I was scouring for as, as a backpacker, size does matter to me. And with price differences nowadays growing larger... I know Meopta's are built like tanks while I've read the Kowa does need the soc. 20-70 would be enough for me, extender would be fun gadget but no necessity...
