    Flycatcher ID Central Texas

The most common flycatchers here during migration are Least, Yellow-bellied, and Acadian. My first thought was Yellow-bellied but there's a white throat and little yellow on underside. Acadian would have a larger bill and longer primaries. So I believe its a Least but not positive.

    Dunlin Central Texas

There were Least Sandpipers nearby and these were larger in size, closer to Dunlin size. A Curlew SP would be very rare in Central Texas.

    Ringed Kingfisher Central Texas

This Ringed has been seen for a week on the Cibolo Creek in NE Bexar County. Can someone tell me the sex and age of this bird? This bird has white speckles which I haven't seen on other Ringed. Is this due to the age of the bird? Thanks.

    Scaup Id Central Texas

Interesting. When I took this photo, others observing the birds id them as a greater in front of a lesser. The bird in front has a more rounded head with a larger bill. It also had more of a greenish head color.
