    ATX 85/Gitzo combo safety

    That is the 3/8"x16 to 1/4"x20 adapter, a constant source of problems. I wish scope manufacturers would deliver without, or at least pack them separately. There might then be a larger offer of QR plates with 3/8" screws,. After all, most tripods and heads have a 3/8" fixing. John

    ATX 85/Gitzo combo safety

    If the foot is not Arca compatible this Clamping Plate 52mm, Anti-Twist should solve the problem. The cutout under the plate should be compatible with the safety retention pin on the Gitzo head. John
