    stupot, Glad to hear it's fixed. I am interested to know how the scope halves are supposed to be held together and what actually breaks. Are they held together with fixing screws so maybe the plastic bits that takes the thread broke, or is there some other fastening system that broke on impact ?

    stupot Somewhere on this forum in the last few months a "professional" repairer posted to say he had developed a procedure to repair ED50s which had broken in half. My forum search skills aren't great, but I will see if I can find it.
