    Black objects in my Kowa scope

    I recently had a similar issue with my Kowa 88mm scope, with what looked like black fragments of "something" . Luckily I had a more recent eyepiece available and when I switched them the spots disappeared. Looked like something inside the eyepiece was fragmenting and falling onto the lens surface.
