    Yes, Texas was very nice as a spring destination this year. Circa 299 species seen (some of the Empids sp may eventually be ID'd from photos and add another 1 or 2), plus another 3 heard (and one detected but Merlin, but the sound could not be discerned by me in the field! - I left Merlin...
