My Nikon MHG 8x30 exhibits glare frequently, but I'm used to it now and work around it. I can think of two occasions when the glare degraded the view so badly I had to give up and look in a different direction. These happened in the morning when the sun was low. I do miss the Ultravid's...- A2GG
