Blown away by old 7x35 10.1 field

Of course an armor should withstand all sorts of use and even a great deal of abuse. In this case it obviously doesn't. Wow, that's pretty extreme degradation. I know that there is a lot of products that can cause this to rubberized materials, such as sunscreen, gun oil, deodorants and many more. Do you use any product that gets on your hands and then later ends up on your binoculars perhaps?- Bramberg

Another thing I thought I'd share. In my case the length of the shock cord is important to get right. Too loose and the binos will not be secured tight enough and slide around on the mount. Too tight and it is difficult to attach it to the mount, the cord will rub hard against the leatherette...- Bramberg
