    Finally got to see these amazing creatures perched on very tall street lamps on the motorway out of Colombo, Sri Lanka. Amazing.

    Picked up a bit of an oil spill, but, on observing this bird over the last couple days, seems to be coping well. (We don't often get to see those gorgeous toes.)

    I have heard it described that when they would fly over the sky would darken. Great to see these numbers. Thanks for sharing.
