Comment by 'Guest' in media 'Rufous Treepie'

Thanks Kerriebr, but doesn't that just add a thumbnail to click on to see the full photo in another tab/window. I was originally trying to embed an 800 pixel wide photo within the post itself. It's just that I'm more used to forums (fora?) which use the later vBulletin software. I was...

    Waterproof/Breathable Over-trousers

You could do worse than visiting your local army surplus store. Both the British DPM and German Flektarn ones do the job at a good price. Both are made of Goretex. I also have some Sprayway black stretchy all day trousers that are quite good, but they do get a bit hot when the sun comes out.

    Digitalrev: trusted dealer?

Hello from another bit of snowy Sheffield, Crookes is a bit wild at the moment. Never used DigitalRev as they as China based. Might be worth having a look at what Ian Kerr (Kerso) has to offer. Sound chap and all kit is shipped from Scotland. Even better prices off ebay and paid by direct bank...

    updates for computer keeps apearing.

Try downloading and running Belarc Advisor. it will check out all the updates for you and let you know which ones have failed. A neat little program which will tell you lots about your system. Worth keeping a print of the results as well; it will list your software product codes etc.

    Birdguide Query - Non iPod

I have a query related to the Birdguide series of products. I've just got a Samsung YP-P3JEB (16Gb) player for my better half and I'm looking for a bird sounds and video/photo package for it. I've had a look at the Birdguide catalogue; they have two or three products that are of interest. The...

    Olympus E-620

Cristian, Have you tried giving the AF sensor in the bottom of the camera body a good blow out with a puffer brush? The Giottos Rocket Blower is pretty good, just don't use canned or compressed air. The same goes for the area under the mirror, again be careful as the mirror surface is easily...
