    Swainson's or Hermit Thrush.

    Birdmeister is correct: Swainson's. Look for the buff-coloured mark that runs from the front of the eye to the bill. You won't see that mark on a Hermit.

    I would lean slightly towards Least for the first photo. They often show that crescent shape on the back part of the eye ring, a feature I have not seen in Willow/Alder. Primary projection also looks right. I agree with Birdmeister on the second photo: Eastern Wood-Pewee.

    They can be tricky to sort out. A few things to look for: Vesper Sparrows are very plain/drab sparrows. They are a bit oddly shaped compared to common sparrow - less plump.     This is what you are looking for in an autumn Sanderling. Very white below, white scaling on grey above, quite a bit chunkier than the small sandpipers and stints.

    Seen in Southern Ontario on Friday. I am leaning towards American Golden because of the white supercilium and fine black stripe behind the eye, and because it doesn't look as block-headed as BBPL. But... shouldn't the primaries should stick out a bit more behind the tail? Juveniles of both...

    The third bird looks good for a dowitcher. Short-billed would be the more likely candidate in Toronto in September but the photos aren't clear enough to allow a positive ID.
