Thanks Steve. Best lens I’ve used in past 30 years. There is plenty of poor light & claggy air around the Humber! It’s at least as sharp as the brilliant Oly 300 pro & at any length from 150 to 1000.Still superb with the MC14 on it. The purple sand pics were all taken in awful light - up the...

Thanks Mark. the bird winters on the shore between Grimsby North Wall and Cleethorpes Pier. Best chance of finding it would be to check the groynes and tideline between the Pier and north end of Promenade, around high tide.

    Zeiss 10x32 T FL

Yes, that’s what Daniel & I have referred to as “horizontal bracket” in above posts.

    Zeiss 10x32 T FL

Many thanks for the reply, certainly helpful. There is a ‘horizontal bracket’ over the “32” on the spec plate, so later in the production run. Certainly a quality glass, bright and sharp, but I prefer 8X and I’m content with my SFs, so I’ll likely move these 10x32s on.

    Zeiss 10x32 T FL

I have recently inherited a 10x32 T FL 3230997. As new condition in cordura case. Any way to find date of production from its number? Am I right in thinking that the “T” means it’s from the latter end of the production run? What would a reasonable resale value be in these SF/SFL days? I use SF...

    New OM-1

I havn't visited here for a long time, should do it more often. Moved on from EM1X to OM1 last month. outwardly looks like the Oly EM1iii - added AF.ON button for back button focus is excellent addition - but its a very different beast in field use. The autofocus is hugely better ( not that that...
