    Which binocular(s) did you use today?

    Took out my Ziess 8x32 SF. Love these bins. Downside 3rd straight day of fog, clouds and misty rain. Tough to get any detail of any birds up in the trees. Been contemplating SF 8x42 or 10x42 to add to collection

    If i was richer to buy and younger to carry that load that would I add this to bag. But that is not gonna happen. And besides am quite happy with my OM-1 system

    Thinking of buying a new OM-1 mk2

    I own both the Oly 100-400 and 300 F4 In good light the 100-400 for me is great. The 300 F4 is stellar. Very sharp. Also use 300 with 1.4 ext. I prefer a zoom also but when in the woods trying to get pics of warblers the 300 just performs better to allow lower ISO with dual sync...

    Now that I have had a chance to put my replacement 8x32 SF to use I can say I am very pleased with the results. Excellent view even for my old eyes.

    My new 8x32 SF were returned today. Ref post New Bin GAS. Switch to SF from Conquest? Bins were returned to Zeiss on June 2. On 6/6 got notice of receipt. On 6/9 notice they were sending a replacement pair which arrived today. Downside I am halfway across US right now so will check them...

    ZEISS Victory SF Binoculars, 8x42 USD$ 2,899.99 THIS ITEM IS DISCONTINUED. WE WILL ATTEMPT TO FIND ONE. ITEM # 524223-0000-000 did I miss something? Or is this standard for we have no inventory right now? Shows same for 10x42 But not 8x32. Thought I would check there for availability too...

    Going to start looking for Ziess Victory SF bins online. Any recommended dealers to check? Normally use BH and adorama for my photography needs. Anyone use Sports Optics out of Hammond LA? EuroOptics does even show SF. Any other recommendations?

    The optics of the NL are amazing With that I agree 100%. For both birding and night sky. yes all have issues. My conquest hinge failed and Ziess replaced the bins. But for the money that NL cost I would hope for better
