    Searching for my first scope, will send karma points to those who helps.

    I have the orion grandview ED which I believe is the same as the SV406 ED and find it quite agreeable for the price (especially with a nice wide field astronomical eyepiece on it (attached you will find a photo of some blackbirds I snapped just holding my phone up to the eyepiece this weekend)...
