Buy better binoculars with repellant objectives, put some rain shields on them too. Unpleasant to be in the rain? Buy a poncho. As for no birds? Sea birds, divers, ducks, Sand/House Martins, all active in the rain. The list is long. Bad weather brings in migrants... The reasons to be out in bad...- Ratal
