    I really do not take him seriously, I mean we should all know that that photo was a joke. It can be entertaining with Dennis, but I do not rely on his knowledge of optics for my decisions. He is good at starting threads one has to admit, but to take him seriously....er no.

    "With the SLC 56 Models I see next to nothing of glare ("Andy, "Dries 1" what do you say?)" The 56 SLCs are excellent performers IMO, and so is the SLC in 42.

    I have the 8X42 and I can induce glare, but positioning is second nature for me. New to me is the SV 8X32 and personally it is not (somewhat historically characterized), a glare monster. The only other small aperture Swarovski I have is a SLC 8X30, also not an issue with glare. The glare is...

    It is baffling that Swarovski, with all the testing that likely went into in the development of the NL, did not address this. I mean it has been described as a low cost solution.

    In the end Swarovski will sell many more NLs than Zeiss will sell SFs. So the glare is in the end a non issue, take that to the bank.
