    There are a few odd country combinations in insect books. I could write (and use my own photos to illustrate) a dragonflies of Hampshire and Málaga province book but it would have a very small target audience :)

    My estimate is that it has just over 50% of the Spanish species - so I expect that to reduce when you add in the Portuguese species but I don't have an indicator for them in my database.

    As far as I can see the only species that is mentioned in Bellmann and Luquet (2017) to occur in Germany and none of the other countries covered by the book (Belgium, Switzerland, France, Luxemburg and the Netherlands) AND is not in Sardet et al (Orthoptères de France, Belgique, Luxembourg &...

    I have the book and the only (sub) species that I can see that isn't in the book is Jersey Bush-cricket Platycleis albopunctata jerseyana.
