    Bahamas - Lesser or Great Black-backed gull

    Here I'm using "mantle" informally to mean what we can see of the back and the majority of the folded wings (i.e. excluding the tips etc like the white tertial tips)---so the obvious dark grey bit of the bird. (Here I find the tertial white quite prominent, almost like a great black back's)
