Not really going to "bodge" it :). I find that it works fine half way in between the 2nd and 3rd stop, so maybe a couple of O rings will do the trick. -

Got my SRCB 10x50 today, it has a very similar field to the NL. I think it is slightly sharper at the extreme edge, but has higher CA off center compare to the NL 10x42. Indeed it does not flare like the NL! It is definitely a keeper, especially for the price I paid. The only problem I found... -

Diopter wheel fell off from my Zeiss Victory Pocket
Here is a close-up photo of the wheel. There are 3 tiny tabs that will be pushed in and keep the wheel in position while it can still rotate. The female "teeth" in the center will be able to engage male "teeth" inside the bridge connected to the diopter adjusting mechanism. The male teeth move... -

I've already ordered a Skyrover Cloud Banner 10x50, and should be able to get it in couple of days. People said it should be like a NL without the flare issue, and that sounds almost too good to be true. Let's see how it turns out. -

Diopter wheel fell off from my Zeiss Victory Pocket
The knob could still be pushed on to adjust the diopter (it just does not stay on), so I did one final adjustment before I sealed it with the white cap. If in the future the diopter setting does drift out of position, I can easily remove the cap and reset it. -

Thanks for the suggestion, but I don't foresee reselling it. The diopter is the only thing I didn't like and it is now gone :). However if in the future I do end up wanting to sell it, I can send it to Zeiss for repair, or maybe I just need to order a new replacement wheel for it. -
