Objective Lens Cleaning
I'm sure this is not the answer you're looking for, but I would suggest cleaning them as little as possible. Baring any large smears or smudges just keep the lens free of dust with a blower, the more you try to clean them the greater the possiblity of damaging the coatings. I'm fairly confident... -

LEICA ULTRAVID 12 x 50 HD
I switched from a Swarovski SLC Nue 10x50 to a Leica Ultravid HD 12x50 and have been very pleased with the decision. The 12x50 has been no more difficult to hold steady than the heavier 10x SLC, not sure if the weight reduction had a mitigating effect on the 2x increase in magnification or not...
