    I have the Habicht in 8x30 and 10x40 -both beautiful glass- but your “declaration of love” for the 7x42 makes me want to try/buy one of them as well. Then I have them all three and three is a holy number…

    Thanks, it’s the toughest I have I guess. I will check the markings when I’m back in The Netherlands as im in Sweden now.

    The specific item I ordered was new and as said came from Swarovski, but if I remember it correctly there was a cancelled order from a country in the Middle East so they had/have on stock. Maybe they produce them only at request.

    First I called Swarovski and asked if they sell them and after confirmation I ordered one at my Swarovski dealer here in the Netherlands: houseofoutdoors.com

    I also own the 10x40 GA and they are great binoculars. Just for the record, Swarovski still produces the 8x30 in GA, but only in IF version. I also own one if these, tough as hell and nice glass to hold an look through.
