    Spotted this handsome guy with his reflection driving around on a futile Tiger Safari in a 100+ tiger reserve Kanha but none showed up three days in a row. Added attraction was a look into the camera as well as his reflection in the water.

    The Fork-Tailed Woodnymph is a hummingbird endemic to most of South America. This is the first Hummingbird Ive ever shot and this guy posed for me near to Lake Sandoval in the Tambopata region of Peru.

    Haaaa haaaa is the sound these birds make as if it is a human breathing out very hard. Apparently mistaken to have been the Dinosaur Bird as well and endemic to the Amazonian region. I shot this head-on on Lake Sandoval in the Tambopata region of Peru.

    Thank you for the inputs. I just walked around Lima in parks covering flowering trees and plants and ended up with many shots of the Amazilia Hummingbird, the Vermillion Fly Catcher and a few more. All walking distance from Miraflores.

    And thats how natures hovercraft hovers with the wings beating at around 80 times per second and speeds up to 80kmph and the capacity to fly forward or backward or hover in the same position while feeding. A marvellous little creature. Forktailed Woodnymph shot near Lake Sandoval, Peru.

    This hummingbird look alike feeds on insects and not nectar and is much bigger than the hummers. Again a low light click under thick canopy around Lake Sandoval in the Amazon Rain forests region of Peru.

    I was delighted to find this super little fly catcher a little over 2 inches probably around lake Sandoval in the forests. While they are tricky to shoot in low light and canopy, this guy obliged with a perch nearby.
