I didn't try the 10x42 but for me the imporvements from the 202 to 205 were mostly better ergonomics, a little less flimsy feeling, and a little wider sweet spot. As to if it is worth twice the price only you can decide that. I would try to be happy with what you have. If your problem is too... -
