    Luck

Sometimes it is luck, or it is timing. I just procured these Leica accessories for much less than asking (practically new), I will use the case for the BA 10X50.

    SV 8X32

I have been spending some time with these over the fall and have been impressed with both the optics and especially the handling of this glass, while it is not as small in stature as the FL as a traveling glass, it more than makes up for it in other ways as a versatile glass and the ease to get...

    Elimination/Replacement

This brand is no longer around, the threads are old, the last thread is from early this year. As there are other brands that are up and running, perhaps a replacement is in order. I am sure many members can provide some suggestions for other new brand names that are actually producing a product.

    Monarch M7

I contacted Nikon after waiting for their customer support, and they have no idea on when the new M7 will come off backorder, so if one is looking to obtain one, it could be a while if one wants to order directly from Nikon. They are some available on the bay.

    Leica Service

I sent these in a few weeks ago, some mild dust particulates inside. Well they are back with new armor, (other descriptions type plate, shield) I have no idea what that means but they look and feel brand new, with that great Leica view, like getting a time capsule brand new. I am extremely...

Can someone explain what is meant when someone who views a flat field binocular sees a 3-D view, this description has been used frequently on here and I need some explanation/understanding of this phenomenon.

    Nobilem Super

Not many have held one for a view - made in small numbers between 1980 - 85. Eight (8) degrees FOV and for the tame hearted, 1250 grams of prism glass and German steel (hoorah). I need to research, but the APOV appears larger than 60 degrees. This is 3 - D heaven.

    Golden Sentinel

Just looking for one of these in 10X50 since Nikon never made a premium porro 10X50 (except the WX... which sorry, not going to spend that much for a 10X50) I recently picked these up from the bay for less than $100.00. It is out of collimation, however it is clear with clean glass externally...

    SLC 8X42 vs 10X42

How would one rate the comparison between these two in their respective formats? The SLC 8X42 seems to get much positive reviews, however where is the SLC 10X42 in relation to other premium 10X42s?

    Nikon SE 8X32

A seller on Ebay is selling an 8X32 SE and one of the eyecups is cracked. The seller states that the eyecups are for sale at Nikon USA for $15.00. Is this new information? Since I thought one had to send the binoculars to Nikon to get evaluated and for any potential eye cup installation. Seller...

    Leica Catalogs

I have been looking at some Leica Catalogs from the 1990s, and they took some great photos of wildlife, and of course the glass with all the specifications. Back then the BAs/BNs were the crème of the crop. The Catalogs were very well put together, impressive. Andy W.

    Meopta

Just to let you know be careful on buying a Meopta glass on the bay advertised as new/open-box (unless it is from a registered dealer), I believe Meopta tracks where the glass is purchased, they ask for that info when registering the glass for future Warranty service. If you are not concerned...
