    This picture of the same bird I was assuming is the female Ethiopian Siskin. I don't see any Rosefinch in the book "Birds of the Horn of Africa"...

    It could be, because not too far was this bird looking like a female Ethiopian Siskin. I never noticed they had such swift tail type though...
