    I used to live in Peru. There used to be a Harpy’s nest downriver from Boca Manu near Blanquillo. Worth seeing if you visit the area again. Impressive birds. Thanks for the tech advice on uploads.

    Rare, Endangered and Unusual birds featured in Rainforest Documentary

    Very impressive footage. I floated down from SanJuan del Oro through the Beni biosphere/Tambopata reserve in the late 80's/early 90's. Even back then we would see smoke in the distance from slash and burn farmers. I was gutted when they paved the TransAmazon-there goes the neighborhood! Anyway...
