    Bird track shows a few sighting in scotland in the last 30 days one of which looks like could be scone palace so looks like there possible. Ebird last date is the 17th of April (shetlands)

    Had this book Birdwatching Walks in the Yorkshire Dales for a while which has some good walks which might work for you. Also the coast path for a day trip should get a nice selection of wildlife.

    Think its just a reed bunting but the pink looking legs are giving me doubts taken last december, arable crop field redbourn, hertfordshire so would welcome some thoughts Many thanks

    Kent a good choice as well, isle of sheppy, Oare marshes and Dungness good at that time of year and lots of good coastal areas inbetween

    Did Batumi a few years in mid September which was a great time to see the sight of a big numbers of Raptors dominated by Honey Buzzards and eastern Buzzards with a good selection of eagles, early october is apparently slightly better for the eagles

    Taken in mid feb a blue morph type Snow goose/ Ross Goose/ Hybrid thoughts welcome please. The black bill makes me thing a hybrid of some kind.

    Which internet recording platform for your daily birds?

    Birdtrack and ebird myself. Intresting our county (herts) as started using ebird since last years bird report to gather data as well as birds for alot of commoner species, also of note london birds club are apparently in the early stages of uploading there data on to ebird.
