.BOU The British List (10th Edition)………

There’s more to that than just the change quoted; the new edition, the 10th, incorporates all the changes that the BOU have made to the List since the 9th edition was published in 2018, during which time, the List has increased from 614 to 628 species. And three days later, the BOU add Zino’s...

Stay-on case for Leica APO 65 scope wanted?

At last, I have managed to get hold of a Kowa C661 stay-on case and it’s a almost perfect fit for my Leica ‘scope; the only slight problem is getting access to the forward focussing knob. I have not yet tried it out in the field but it must be a vast improvement on the hacked about Leica 62 case...

Stay-on case for Leica APO 65 scope wanted?

I am looking for a case for my relatively new Leica APO 65 scope. As Leica seem to have abandoned their own case, has anyone a used, nearly-new case available for purchase? The nearer to the newness, the nearer to the new price, £180, I am willing to pay........... A third-party alternative...

    Mallorca 2018

Thanks very much for the suggestions. Unfortunately, my only means of transport are shank’s pony or the local buses which will get me up the coast to S’Albufeira and Puerto Pollensa and all places in between. And within walking distance, I hope, is Son Real where Balearic Warblers hide away! I’m...

Yes, I have the 8GB iPhone 5c but having kept the usage down, my Control Centre says that I have 2.6GB available. This sufficient for downloading the in-app videos which total 1.5GB together As I mentioned previously, I have referred the problem to Touch Press but can anyone pre-empt their...

I'm in a similar(?) situation....... I downloaded the Collins app, including the BTO maps and both additional videos, onto my iPad 3 almost as soon as I got home from the Birdfair. I was so impressed with the app that I decided it would a useful addition to my iPhone 5c for use in the field...
