    Eastern Massachusetts Sites

    Phil, Plum Island, a barrier beach island about an hour north of Boston, is a good bet for the Rail, the Nuthatch, the Woodpecker and the sparrows you've mentioned. It's also good for shorebirds and waterfowl.
