    Tale of 10x32 comparisons

I don’t have views like that here in Dallas/Fort Worth!

That is absolutely an amazing view. I’m assuming Arizona?

    Tale of 10x32 comparisons

Cool! Like you, I also don’t wear glasses so I have no idea how any of these are with glasses. I wanted to also try the SF 8x32s, but my order was messed up and I stayed w the Leicas. Do you feel your SF 8x32s are too similar to your SF 10x32s (other than 2x extra magnification)?

    Tale of 10x32 comparisons

That was a fun read. I recently gave the 10x32 SF’s another try and I’m glad I did. With patience I was finally able to adjust them to avoid bad blackouts. I love their ergonomics and view. I also tried the NL 10x32s and didn’t like the way they felt nor did I like the view as it appeared to be...

Zeiss HT 10x54 vs Other “Big Eyes”

Just a quick update. I received my HT 10x54s today and I am extremely happy so far. I’ve yet to experience any of the bad issues I had read previously online. Build quality and looks are perfect. Focus wheel is perfect. Very smooth. Crispness and brightness of the image is the best I’ve seen. I...

Zeiss HT 10x54 vs Other “Big Eyes”

I think you may be right since the big three really haven’t introduced any new big eye binos in years. I think Zeiss‘ HTs in 2014, Leica’s UVs in early 2000s, Swarovski‘s ELs in 2009? I guess that’s what we call a clue! Maybe It is a dying format.

Zeiss HT 10x54 vs Other “Big Eyes”

Thank you. That is very helpful. That makes sense that it wasn’t intended for astronomy. I did not know it was out of production by Zeiss as it still seemed to be current on their website. Maybe they are about to introduce big eye SF’s?

Zeiss HT 10x54 vs Other “Big Eyes”

Yeah, I read that. I normally love his reviews, but on this one it made me more confused. I can’t tell if he loves it or hates it. All I learned is that he doesn’t like it for astronomy!

Zeiss HT 10x54 vs Other “Big Eyes”

I am currently interested in getting some “big eye” binoculars in either 8x or 10x. I really want to like the Zeiss HT 10x54 as they seem to be a good size and I think they look great. I know a couple of people around here seem to like their 10x54s, but what has me hesitant are all the negative...

    Review: Zeiss Victory SF 10x32

So true. Maybe I need to give the 10x32s another chance bc I really like the ergonomics and I want a semi lightweight 10 power. I reread Roger Vine’s excellent review and it makes me want them to work for me. I love the ergonomics and views of the SF line.

    Review: Zeiss Victory SF 10x32

I tried the SF 10x32s and they didn’t work for me. The kidney beaning drove me crazy. They were fine when my eyes were still, but the moment I looked around the image, the beans kept appearing. I’m interested in getting the SF 8x32s, but I have and love the SF 8x42s and feel it may be too redundant.

I too purchased the 8x32 NL and 8x32 SF

Which one do you prefer if you could only keep one?

    Swarovski Forehead Rest

That’s great! So I was able to get it turned to the lowest position. I had to force it, but it finallly went down. Maybe mine was just stuck. Anyway, I do feel I have to rest the top of the oculars on my eyebrows for it to fit my forehead properly - as opposed to putting the cups right into my...

    Swarovski Forehead Rest

I think I’ve figured it out. When I put it in what I thought was the lowest position it didn’t work for me. Here is a screenshot showing what I mean. I found this online as I’m not home right now. I then found these two images showing how others were able to get it twisted lower. I guess I...

    Swarovski Forehead Rest

Hello. I’m new to the forum and cannot find an answer to what may be a strange question. I have NL Pure 8x42s and love them. I was trying out the forehead rest and ran into a fitment problem. I have the eyecups extended all the way and installed the forehead rest securely. I also have the rest...
