I saw my first Firecrests, Med Gulls and a Lesser Scaup all on a holiday to Somerset and then to Dorset and Portland recently, with the first two being my main bogey birds. I also saw a lot of other nice birds but none of the others were lifers. -

Managed to see my first Bewick's Swan yesterday, which was my worst bogey bird by a long mile. They're not at all common up here in Scotland, and it was very surprising to see one 10 miles north of Aberdeen at the Ythan. -

Iceland Gull added to British and Life List. Lovely second winter bird at Peterhead Harbour. :t: -

One British tick in the form of Brambling, as well as Water Pipit and Short-eared Owl added both to the British List and Life List. -

Thanks very much birdboybowley. I actually wrote the life list on Microsoft Word earlier this year. I just update it every time I see a new lifer. ;) -
