    Was at Sandwell valley near Birmingham last Saturday and saw, blue tits going in and out of nest box on centre wall. Also 2 foxes seen. 2 parakeets having a scrap on the feeders. Really close up view of Little egret..

    Great morning at rspb Sandwell valley on. Saturday . 29 bird species seen including little egret, great spotted woodpecker little grebe and goosander. Blackthorn blossom is, out. Fox seen from visitor centre by Marsh.

    Otter

    I know this isn't about birds but an otter has been seen at kingfisher corner at rspb Sandwell Valley near Birmingham.! Sadly and industrial area, has polluted the river tame so whether the otter will come back remains to be seen

    Plenty of waterfowl at Swan pool Sandwell Valley country park. Inc little grebe. Great crested grebe Pochard. The red crested Pochard have gone and so has the goldeneye. Forge Mill lake has large numbers of canada, geese Coot. Heron cormorant and other waterfowl. Great afternoon on Monday

    Great morning at rspb Sandwell Valley. Lots of Coot about cormorants swans great crested grebes and a lot more including snipe. Jack snipe about too but didn't see them Several dragonflies around.

    Our local rspb group in Walsall have restarted their monthly meetings and last week wader quest spoke to us about the various curlews of the world. Very good talk. We meet at St Mary's primary school in jesson Road Walsall on the 3rd Wednesday each month at 7.30pm. You will be most welcome.

    Was, at rspb Sandwell Valley near Birmingham on Saturday morning and saw 15cormorants and 4 little egrets among the usual waterbirds. A pair of swans had cygnets and a pair of great crested grebe had young. A good morning s birding.
