    IIRC based on fairly recent browsing, used Nikon WX sometimes pop up in the $5000 / 5500 range. It never occurred to me to A/B compare my Anniversary 8x30 or recent 10x35 E II with EDG II 10x32 or 7x42. Should be interesting. The ER on either E II is just enough for me to get the full FOV...
