Interesting idea ... paint one turbine blade black to prevent bird fatalities.
Hi, I’m looking for somewhere with a hummer flash set up in position. Also any info on local guides or specifically a photo guide, we are touring mostly the north and Pacific coast in March 2020.
Taken today (one of two similar exuvia) on our garden pond in rural Lincolnshire, near Skegness, mainly arable farmland, not near any local heathland.
I think they may be common hawker but there's a suggestion they are unlikely away from heathland.
Hi, I live in India but leave for good in mid march, I'm looking to do a trip or two before I go in the north, or north east or Andaman Islands (coupled up with some diving). Happy to put someone up for a few days before so they can go down to Bharatpur or Sultanpur.
I was on the train going up to the Farne Islands a few of years ago in May, I was dozing off a bit so I can't remember exactly where we were but probably somewhere around South Yorkshire? But from the train there were some huge cornfields full of poppies for mile after mile, anyone have any idea...

SULTANPUR NATIONAL PARK, HARYANA, INDIA
A one square mile area of wetland reserve south west of Delhi, good for wildfowl and raptors in the winter. Finally caught up with sirkeer malkoha which is widespread but not common.
1 Northern Shoveler
3 Eurasian Wigeon
Jobu's technical help is useless. The little silver thumb screw that locks the up and down movement of the head fell out. Has anyone else had this problem? Any ideas how to fix/reinsert it? It won't just push back in because it's come free of the spring that is presumably inside.
The more I stare the less I'm sure... green because of leg colour even though back is more spangled than plain?
Thanks in advance.
