I have seen a few references to Westwood Pool recently and that it is a permit only site. However I can't seem to find any details about access, ownership or how to obtain a permit anywhere. Could anyone enlighten me? Thanks Tom

We have being coming to the area for a number of years and have walked around Holkham Woods and Beaches many times in the hope of seeing Shore Larks to no avail! I know they have been seen recently, I just wonder if anyone can give any pointers? Thanks Tom

We have just returned from a long non-birding trip to Oz and NZ, but did manage to fit a couple of days in, one was a Wetlands trip near Darwin (Highly recommended by the way!) at the moment one bird is causing me trouble, I thought it was a Honeyeater of some sort but can't seem to find it in...

Saw this last week on Zakynthos, pretty sure it's a dark morph Common Buzzard, but not 100%
