Well done on seeing such a beautiful bird; they're always a treat to glimpse. Congratulations to your wife on seeing her first :t: I like, how at certain angles, in sunlight, they shimmer a beautiful green colour.

You could be right, there, KC. It amazes me the things birds and other animals learn when it comes to finding food and surviving difficult times. Thanks for your comment :)

    Mountains and Mole Hills

A Robin stood upon a freshly dug mole hill. As well as the chance of a couple of worms, I imagine it was a warmer place under foot, for the Robin, on this frosty, chilly morning. https://www.tomcharlesphotography.co.uk/

I cant get my whites to look this white, even with software, Ovi lol Looking at the white under-belly of the birds, are they flying over snow? Beautiful. Like white arrows heading for their target. We've just started to get decent numbers of these swans here.

Making Hay Whilst the Sun Shines

After so much rain lately, it was little wonder to see two Barn Owls hunting throughout the day today, in the beautiful calm, winter sunshine. https://www.tomcharlesphotography.co.uk/

I think the female Blackbird is so beautiful, with its colouration and subtle markings. Posing like this in such lovely light reveals it all. Im glad she stayed long enough for the shot :t:

I can just make out the string used to keep this bee in position, KC :P A nice accomplishment getting such a small creature in flight. Well done :t:
