At these prices, I think Nikon could scale down the Wx, add center focus and make money. Edmund

New Product Introduction Today From Swarovski ?

It's usual in the "luxury" market for stuff to be "out of stock", and your getting an item being presented as a "favor" by the dealer. A salesman in that area indicated to me that working for a firm selling a french leather brand starting with "H", sales assistants were under orders not to sell...

Leica has a batch of new 32, in fact 35s, they are called Retrovids It's interesting to see them put these up against the new SF, although to be fair theirs is available and the SF is not :) The 7x35 is quite nice actually, I don't know about the others. I really wish Swaro had started by...

New Product Introduction Today From Swarovski ?

Maybe they’ll make an 8x32 with a wider fov. I can’t use their x42 because of the 56mm IPD. Leica’s trick of the 7x35 solves size weight and view issues even though they don’t have much magnification. I think that for birding their product has merits. Edmund

I am so lucky, my IPD is under 56mm. Edmund

New Product Introduction Today From Swarovski ?

Why are you making fun of this poor luxury company? It says right there on their site that the forehead rest is cushioned with recycled ostrich leather, and that healthchecked young ladies or young men from “RotLicht”, a personal service enterprise in Amsterdam NL will home-deliver, and ensure...
