They borrowed the design from the HT.....I loved the design on the HT and it is perfect for ergonomics but many on this forum hated the HT design. Will be interesting to see how this plays out, as 'us'-- 'HT-er's' --listen in :-) -

in regards to the products....I don't think in all my years of birding have I seen anyone carry a binocular in the case (Swaro or not) ..... Now, they might have the case if they 'travel'....but not in the field like those images do :-)... -

How might the forehead rest work as IS? I have never tried an IS binocular so don't know how to relate, but....if I brace my current binocular against the top of a rail or have an elbow on a pole etc, do you think that same effect would equal the IS that they state is from the forehead rest? ... -

I feel that there is a limit to FOV...and this new product might have surpassed the true need. The above examples are great examples. You forgot to mention anything 'up-close' ; oh yes, the new Swaro doesn't 'do' up-close. But is FOV over-rated? Look at how even the cheapo bins have adopted... -

Two things... I too find it interesting that soap and brush are included as an accessory. Second....the cost. Yes, a bit prohibitive for many. But look at the scope line they came out with. They kept the ATS line for us 'poor folks' at only $3000 US dollars w/o the $1500 tripod :-) .... but... -
