New Product Introduction Today From Swarovski ?

They borrowed the design from the HT.....I loved the design on the HT and it is perfect for ergonomics but many on this forum hated the HT design. Will be interesting to see how this plays out, as 'us'-- 'HT-er's' --listen in :-)

New Product Introduction Today From Swarovski ?

in regards to the products....I don't think in all my years of birding have I seen anyone carry a binocular in the case (Swaro or not) ..... Now, they might have the case if they 'travel'....but not in the field like those images do :-)...

New Product Introduction Today From Swarovski ?

Having had a Zeiss HT for equally as long, when I saw the NL my first impression was ...hey, that's the HT!!!!... In some ways I feel the HT has been bashed thru the years since the SF was so quick to follow and the HT was placed on the discontinued list. But now we have the HT all over. I...

New Product Introduction Today From Swarovski ?

So how can the close focus change between one day and the next...? They obviously haven't physically changed the EL ...yet.... But your suggestion about slowly tweaking it is something to ponder on....

New Product Introduction Today From Swarovski ?

How might the forehead rest work as IS? I have never tried an IS binocular so don't know how to relate, but....if I brace my current binocular against the top of a rail or have an elbow on a pole etc, do you think that same effect would equal the IS that they state is from the forehead rest? ...

New Product Introduction Today From Swarovski ?

This is what worries me about Nikon....will they / are they; really around for customer service & warranty etc.? So when I look at purchasing a Nikon, this simply has to come into play. Swarovski, well I know where they stand and I have no issue so purchasing a new product such as the NL, I know...

New Product Introduction Today From Swarovski ?

Dennis...I have a pair of CL's coming in tomorrow to compare side by side to the Meostars, HG's and Trinovids. Should be interesting. No doubt the new Swaro's coming out will top just about anything out here. It seems like Zeiss and Swaro push each other every so many years. Now, the SF is how...

New Product Introduction Today From Swarovski ?

I have been testing out an Ultravid and am disappointed in the clunkiness of the focus wheel. I wonder if this is a bad copy. The Trinovid had a superb focus wheel. But Like others, the 32 as we age is more appropriate. I wonder why Swaro or others don't see that as like it or not, the...

Total agreement....on all.... but a nice marketing job, as Swaro has that down pat above all others.

New Product Introduction Today From Swarovski ?

I feel that there is a limit to FOV...and this new product might have surpassed the true need. The above examples are great examples. You forgot to mention anything 'up-close' ; oh yes, the new Swaro doesn't 'do' up-close. But is FOV over-rated? Look at how even the cheapo bins have adopted...

New Product Introduction Today From Swarovski ?

I see the soap and brush are not what immediately comes to mind as in a bar of 'bath soap and a wire brush :-) '.... perhaps they need to rename them

New Product Introduction Today From Swarovski ?

Two things... I too find it interesting that soap and brush are included as an accessory. Second....the cost. Yes, a bit prohibitive for many. But look at the scope line they came out with. They kept the ATS line for us 'poor folks' at only $3000 US dollars w/o the $1500 tripod :-) .... but...
