    Tenerife (Canary Islands) Birding Trip Report – July 2022

    I have read that Trumpeter Finch has been extirpated from Tenerife, the banana plantations have destroyed much of their habitat. They are still common on the western islands and are supposed to be found on La Gomera, near its airport. David
