Bird ID help - Chennai - South India

Ah ok. Thanks. Only seen it in its usual swimming mode ms the distinct yellow gape and dark rufous colours. Unusual to see it out like this and dirty nonbreeding colours. Maybe juvenile with the green webbed feet? Thanks Andrew and aeshna5

Thanks Andy and Andy. Yes, I am also thinking Bushlark. Rufous winged Bushlark, Bengal bush lark. The rufous color wing is so distinct. Wondering why the plumage is so ruffled up - unlike the usual Bushlark appearance!
