    A strange 8x32 choice.

You simply can't deny the elegance of the NL's. A little bit like the Sophia Loren amongst binos. And this comes from a dyed in the wool Leica nut

    Leica eye candy....

No worries @jafritten, no harm, no foul. I knew your intentions were entirely legitimate. I thought you might know them, maybe have done some business with them. If I was anywhere semi close to Andorra I would hop in a car and have a looksee, as that 10x32 Safari Edition sure got my attention...

    Leica eye candy....

The picture was taken yesterday. A small tidbit of information for y'all; @Trinovid is referring by "lots of summer left in that shot..." to the blooming state of the fireweed, as the blooms march up its stem. As we say here up North "when the fireweed turns to cotton, summer will soon be...

    Leica eye candy....

Hello @MiddleRiver, thank you. If it wasn't for them mountains in front of my cabin I would have quite a view ;) Joking aside, yes sir, they are real, and every day new. I have been marveling at them for a quarter of a century; imposing, majestic, stately.

    Leica eye candy....

@jafritten, thank you. The Noctivid is a 8x40, the three Trinovids below are 10x. The 15x56 lives on a tripod, and is used daily. I find it very enjoyable.

Leica UV 8x20 vs Zeiss VP 8x25

@mwhogue and @Trinovid, I REALLY appreciate your thoughtful and eloquent responses regarding the Curio. Being a Leica aficionado, I was close to add an UV 8x20 to my "arsenal", then, after reading the @chill6x6 review of the VP 8x25, it galops to the front, but the Curio won without trying...

Leica UV 8x20 vs Zeiss VP 8x25

I had been considering both the UV 8x20 and the VP 8x25, but have now just ordered the Curio. The 7x intrigues me. I think it will make for some rather relaxed glassing.
