8x32 EL or the new 8.5x42 “Legend”

My eyes are the same left and right so don’t need to change the diopter 😉

8x32 EL or the new 8.5x42 “Legend”

90% of the time I keep my glasses one. On rare occassions I put them on top of my head. Pretty fixed and won’t fall off.

8x32 EL or the new 8.5x42 “Legend”

The one I received first was sent back, it had a lot of dust particles under the glass. Today I went to House of Optics in Maarssen to look for another 8.5. As they also had a SLC in stock, I also tried that one. Although the SLC was really nice and the view was crystal clear I did chose the...

8x32 EL or the new 8.5x42 “Legend”

Made up my mind! Ordered the old type 8.5x42 today for the discounted price of the new ‘Legend’. It’s coming in tomorrow. They have a good return policy so I have plenty of time to check it out a bit.

8x32 EL or the new 8.5x42 “Legend”

Not a fanboy but I am set on Swaro. Like the build quality and the designs. Don’t think the SLC is it for me. Like the design and weight distribution of the EL’s more

8x32 EL or the new 8.5x42 “Legend”

To be honest I am not sure if I want to sell it. A friend of mine also recommended the SLC 8x42 before it is out of stock everywhere. Still have some homework to do Btw I visited a place today where you can view wild boars and deers from a distance. It was dark in the forest...

Thanks! I was already leaning towards a 8x32 due to the size but I am really sure now

8x32 EL or the new 8.5x42 “Legend”

I own a Swarovski CL 8x25 pocket for some time. Really like it due to its compact size which is ideal when backpacking. I want to step up the game a bit and I am doubting between the 8x32 or the new 8.5x42. Before the focus distance was raised to 3,3m the price difference was pretty...

    Looking for a nice bag

Update! Looked at a lot of cases. Most of them were too wide or deep. Then saw this SH100 that looked to deep but was heavily padded. After removi g the divider it is a very snug fit. Highly recommended. Looks like it was made for an UV 7x42 HD

    7x42 Ultravid

Mmm. Bought a new old stock 7x42 HD (non +) last weekend, and don’t recognize any of your problems. I do had some ‘problems’ in adjusting the diopter. Individually the view was really sharp but with both eyes open my eyes had to adjust a few seconds. But after setting everyrhing back, the...

    Looking for a nice bag

Thanks for your input but looking for a rugged bag as I have lots of stuff in mu bag which can potentially damage my bino. I do like the fact that you can remove your bino quickly this way.

    Looking for a nice bag

Also what I was planning but still looking for something a bit more sturdy for in my backpack. Looked at the Lowepro Utility bag, but it is a bit too large to put in a backpack. Also considered the Swarovski Field Bag |:x|

    Looking for a nice bag

Looking for a nice case Bought a NOS Ultravid 7x42HD yesterday. In comparion to my Swarovski bag, I am finding the OEM Leica bag a bit flimsy. Looking for a nice bag, I am not ready to fork out another € 300 for the luxury Leica bag, so I was wondering if there are any other options Thanks!

Question regarding 8x30 SLC Mk. II

Thanks for your reactions! Find the price of EUR 599 a bit steep so I am gonna let this one pass.

Question regarding 8x30 SLC Mk. II

Hi guys! I am new here (I will properly introduce myself asap) and got a question regarding a SLC 8x30 Mk. II that is for sale. It originated as a Mk. II but at a recent service at Swarovski it received a complete new body with twist-out eye cups (which makes it a Mk. IV iirc). From what I...
