    Rosefinch? S E Iran

    Doesn’t look right for Common Rosefinch to me. Pale bill, uniform greyish mantle, dark tertials with clear pale fringes. Looks more like what I’d expect Pale Rock Sparrow to look like, but that’s something I have no experience of.

    Most species of Warbler at a UK site?

    A Dartford Warbler at Spurn today was the 40th species of Warbler for the site. Can any other UK site better this? Don’t say Shetland or Scilleys, they are county’s,not sites. I’m talking about “old world” Warblers, 40 does not include Blackpoll.

    Flamborough Head bay brambles, 20.09.21 ID help

    A Barred Warbler has been present in Bay Brambles. Somebody took some pictures,in Bay Brambles, of a bird that doesn't really look like a Barred Warbler. I don't think the two are connected.
