Lovely walk up to the Cimla with the boy today. 1st local Swallow over St Matthew’s church. Great views of a Cettis down on the Tenant Canal and good to watch some Sand Martins by the college bridge. Also heard my 1st Willow Warbler of the year. 101. Willow Warbler

Beautiful walk around Whiteford Point today. Pup was a little unsettled with so many sheep around. Bird wise it was fairly quiet. The expected Brents appear to have departed. Did manage to get to the 100 for the year at last though. 98. Eider 99. Grey Plover 100. Common Gull

Cracking day today. Highlight being the smoked free range bacon from Dewi Roberts butchers in Llandeilo. Just the right amount of fat to meat. Smokiness spot on. And the rind was on. Best bacon I’ve had in a long time. Oh... and the Walrus remained at Tenby :ROFLMAO:

Me and the boy covered just under 10 miles on the other side of the valley today. Beautiful around Neath Golf club. Stunning Female wire haired Vizsla up there as well. Good few Buzzards were around along with a couple of Red Kites. Nice to add Kestrel to the year list. Not many around here at...

Bud is over his op now so we headed up to Drummau this afternoon. Nice flock of Winter Thrushes by the old Ack Ack gun placement. And we also put up a Skylark. 59. Skylark. Cracking cross Black Labrador/ Lurcher bitch up there as well. Very friendly.
